I'm Alex (she/her), an artist, mom, Lifetime Girl Scout, hiker, foodie, taekwondo black belt, and lover of landscapes. I'm a born-and-raised California girl turned Utahn who's been hiking and painting almost my whole life. I have a BFA in illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and I’ve been privileged to be a freelance artist and graphic designer for more than a decade. Hiking to beautiful places and painting en plein air are my jam and I’m a sucker for waterfalls, red rock, and sunsets. I’m passionate about sharing my love for travel, history, and the outdoors with my husband and kids.
