Art Genre: Oil Painting

Brian Cragun has been painting landscapes and religious themes for over 20 years. His medium is oils. He enjoys plein air painting and capturing light and the effects of light. He has studied with award winning artists Marc Hanson of Savannah, Georgia, and Kami Polzin of Stillwater, Minnesota. Most recently he has studied with Dick Horrocks of Utah. He also loves creating for his grandchildren and has written and illustrated 5 children’s books about them. He grew up in Logan, and now lives in Lehi, Utah after living in Minnesota for 36 years. Brian’s art is available online at briancragun.blogspot.com and at Beespoke gallery in American Fork, UT, where he also teaches classes in oil painting.
