Whether portraying the concepts associated with a singular word or creating duplicity of meaning with hundreds of words, Tyler seeks to create artwork that creates an experience. Look closer at his artwork because he always includes things are not apparent at first glance. He also utilizes light (backlight or reflection) to provide greater depth to his work. He is a husband, father of two, a teacher, avid hiker, skier enthusiast, and traveler of places both near and far. His greatest desire with art is to create pieces that go beyond the visual and dive deep into the mind and heart.
