Art Genres: Oil and Watercolor Painting

Kara Aina is originally from New Brunswick, Canada. She attended art school in Canada then transferred to Brigham Young University to complete her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
Kara has also received an Art Education K-12 teaching certification from Utah State University and currently teaches at a local high school in West Jordan, Utah. Kara works primarily in watercolor, and oil and has an apparent love for simple and clean aesthetics, vintage fabrics, surface pattern and the interplay of shape and color. Her work is inspired by connections and interactions she has with nature, travel and relationships.
