Art Genre: Watercolor Painting

I'm Alex (she/her), an artist, mom, Lifetime Girl Scout, hiker, foodie, taekwondo black belt, and lifelong lover of the outdoors. I'm a born-and-raised California girl who became a Utah local, and I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I earned a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and have spent more than a decade as a freelance artist and graphic designer.

My artwork is inspired by places I've been lucky enough to explore in person. Give me red rock, a waterfall, a starry sky, or a great sunset and I'm happy. I love hiking to beautiful places, taking too many photos, and turning those memories into paintings.

When I'm not painting, I'm outdoors with my family, reading, practicing taekwondo, or plotting our next adventure.
