Art Genre: Photographer

Berlyn Gallacher is a photographer and graphic designer based in Draper, Utah. She has been passionate about photography since she was fifteen years old, often spending weekends driving through Utah’s backroads and small towns in search of forgotten places, interesting people, and stories waiting to be told through the lens of her camera. She loves to travel with her family, where she likes to capture the character, history, and culture of a place. She is especially drawn to photographs that tell a story—whether through the expressions of the people she meets or the enduring presence of locations shaped by time. She loves capturing a moment that causes the viewer to imagine the lives, experiences, and events that may have unfolded there before the shutter clicked. Currently studying graphic design, Berlyn believes photography is the best way to slow down, be present, and appreciate the world around us.
