Art Genre: Watercolor Painting

My name is Dakota Jensen and I am a self-taught artist from Layton, Utah. Utah's stunning scenery has always been a source of inspiration for me, having lived all across the state and witnessed its natural beauty firsthand. Although I briefly attended Utah State University, I primarily taught myself how to create art and have spent years discovering a style that best showcases the unique character of Utah. My creative process involves both meticulous observation and personal interpretation. I spend countless hours exploring Utah's parks, sketching and photographing the scenes that inspire me. I then bring these observations to the canvas, using watercolor and pen to capture the essence of Utah's landscapes.
