Jessica Michaelson is a Salt Lake based artist working primarily in oil. She enjoys working with in both portrait and figurative work and often paints religious themes. She feels it is rewarding, though humbling to paint pieces that depict the Divine. They are often the most challenging works to portray and the most meaningful to her. She loves also to paint themes that have meaning in her life through objects, florals and landscapes.
