Art Genre: Oil Painting

Keersten Jensen has been painting and teaching art for over 20 years. She is inspired by the beauty found in the common, everyday moments--the vibrant colors of florals, the delicate curves of fruit, the playful spirit of children and the changing light of Utah landscape.
For the past six years, she’s been studying full time at the Hein Atelier of Fine Art. When she manages to slip away from the studio, you’ll find her outdoors searching out the next plein air adventure, juggling more creative projects than she probably should, and dancing in the kitchen with her three daughters and her wonderfully patient husband (who kindly overlooks their messy house scattered with smears of paint and works in progress.)
