Shauna Powell sees painting as a way of honoring creation and inviting stillness in a hurried world. She is drawn to quiet moments, careful observation, and the way light reveals form and meaning on a subject. She was blessed to raise six children here in the beautiful state of Utah. As a family, they spent countless hours hiking peaks, mountain biking, canyoneering, skiing, and rock climbing. Through it all, she has loved finding the connection to all things with the Creator of all things and is grateful for the Savior and this beautiful world that He created.
